In "Bloom COunty" Steve the scuzzy lawyer is discussing with his girlfriend their date the night before, and he says something about how he cooked her dinner and she says "Steve, you fried spaghetti!"Somewhere in a shameful part of my mind, I always wanted to try fried spaghetti. These are close. The hard crunchiness and the pasta taste are hard to reconcile at first, and I didn't like them, but after a few more I did, and now I really like them, but I like to snack on the naked boiled lasagna noodles when I'm cooking. I'm happy with subtle flavors. When I bite it I get hard crunch, a nice oil flavor, salt, and plain pasta buried somewhere underneath.
They're not for everyone, but I like them a lot. Don't expect potato chips, though.
